Beer Week's Last Call

If you're anything like us you've probably already had your share of beer over the past Seattle Beer Week. Well, it's time to rally once again and make it over to the Hale's Palladium on Sunday for the "Last Call" beer festival. The big Beer Week wrap-up festivities start at noon and finish at 5 so you can still wake up fresh and ready to work Monday morning. 22 different Washington breweries will be there including old favorites like Anacortes, Big Time and Flyer's alongside newcomers like Airways, Fremont Brewing and Naked City will be there pouring over 33 different beers; many of which are special one-off batches. You can pick up your tickets here ($25 with designated driver tickets for $5 sold at the door) but you'd better hurry because they're going fast. Join us there to raise a "Cheers!" to the Seattle Beer Collective and participating breweries for all their hard work.

Harmon Tasting

Stop by this evening from 5-7 to try Tacoma's own Harmon Brewing Company. We will be pouring bottles and will have their IPA on draft. Brewer Jeff Carlson will be here from Harmon to help pour, talk about his beers, and talk about the changes down at Harmon.

7 Seas Tasting

Join the 7 Seas Brewing crew and us for another tasting this evening. We will be pouring both of their full time beers from the can and will have a special draft offering as well. 5-7pm $1.

Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company Tasting

Join Erik Carels from Snoqualmie Falls Brewing and the Bottleworks staff for a action packed tasting. We will be pouring all the regular Snoqualmie beers, their new Summer Beer, and a special draft selection. Tasting is from 5-7pm for just $1.

Sierra Nevada Tasting

Join us this evening for a Sierra Nevada tasting. Terrance Sullivan the head brewer and Doug Wilson, the local Sierra Nevada representative will be here to pour some special beers. We will have their 30th Anniversary Stout (a collaboration with Fritz Maytag of Anchor Brewing) on draft and also a vintage Bigfoot Barelywine Keg and a special Oak Aged beer on draft as well. Tasting will be just $1 from 5-7.

Trappistes Rochefort

From 5PM to 7PM tonight we'll be hosting a tasting featuring the acclaimed Trappist brewery of Rochefort from southern Belgium. Head Brewer Gumer Santos will be in attendance and we'll be pouring samples of the 6, 8 and 10 for just $1.

Tonight at 5 pm we will be hosting Cody of Epic Ales from this great new brewery down in SoDo. Come on out and taste these fine beers! As usual 5-7pm and only a buck! Happy Beer Week!

Firestone Walker Parabola Release Event

Today we're having a particularly special event, the Washington debut of Firestone Walker's Parabola in bottles. The initial release from their Proprietors Reserve Series and the first time the beer has ever (publicly) seen the inside of a bottle. Everything kicks off at 3PM with co-owner David Walker and Mike Clark (a.k.a. Pale Hound), our local brewery representative, in attendance. Bottles and 10 ounce pours will be available. Get in quick before we sell out!

Hale's Night

Day two of Seattle Beer Week and we bring you two events to stop by for this evening.

From 5-7pm we will host a Hale's Brewing Company tasting. Stop by to try their Kolsch, Pale Ale, Supergoose Double IPA, Vintage Rudyard's Rare Barleywine, and Seattle Beer Week Double IPA. The tasting will be just $1.

Stick around after the tasting to meet Donny Vomit, the charismatic Master of Ceremonies of the Coney Island Circus Sideshow. Witness such daring feats as sword swallowing, The Human Blockhead, chainsaw juggling, mouse trap poetry and more. Much excitement is sure to be had by all.

Dicks Brewing Co. Night

Come on down and taste some Dick's! Join us tonight starting at 5pm when we kick off Seattle Beer Week with Dick's Brewing. We will have a very special keg of Double Danger Ale, as well as many other fine beers from this Centralia, WA brewery. As an added bonus we will be tapping a keg of the 2010 Seattle Beer Week Double IPA at 5pm!!!
