If you stop by Thursday evening, maybe around 5pm, you'd be just in time to catch a brewery night with Anderson Valley Brewing Company! Long a staple of our store, Anderson Valley Brewing has been bahl hornin' since '87. Our friends in Boonville are sending up some special kegs, and this shop will be the only place in Washington to try them. They definitely aren't the usual West Coast and Trappist-inspired ales you've come to love from Anderson Valley. If you can't make it by 5pm, not to worry, we'll be high git'n until 7pm.

Join us this Friday for a celebration of all things Fremont Brewing. Our friends from down the hill will be here to celebrate their new canned beer releases. We will have specialty Fremont beers on draft, growler specials, keep the glass specials, canned beer specials, and magic tricks from the Fremont Brewing staff. Stop in from 5-8 to enjoy the festivities.

This cigar spotlight is about one of the Rocky Patel cigars we carry. Rocky Patel's Fifteen Anniversary needs no explanation as to its inspiration but here's a quick rundown of what it's made of. Both filler and binder leaf is typical Rocky Patel Nicaraguan but it's bound in a Cuban seed Ecuadorian wrapper. Rocky Patel's aim with this was to make a beefed up version of their popular "Decade" (which we also carry). Meticulously constructed with a triple cap and boxed pressed (a personal preference of mine), we carry both a Toro 6 1/2"X52 and a Robusto 5"X50. Despite the dark oily wrapper, I found this one medium bodied with peppery cedar balanced by an aniseed spice character. If these sell as quick as the Thunder by Nimish did, you should grab them quick while you've got the chance.
